"I wrote this song for my friend Janet Koehne who passed away on February 20th. Janet was a truly beautiful soul, loved by so many, and in the brief time we had together we began to develop a deep friendship. It was a privilege to know her. We were supposed to meet and play our guitars together, but her disease took her from us too soon. As I played the descending slide guitar line on this track I could distinctly hear a second guitar doubling my lines in a graceful and touching way. I do not question who was playing that guitar - when something resonates in your soul you don't question it. Farewell in this life sweet Janet, this is a cry from my heart and it is for you - until we meet again."
